Which industries do you serve?
Heavy industry and process industry. Specifically: steel production (Tata Steel), petrochemicals, power generation, infrastructure and food. Our projects range from commissioning at PepsiCo to construction management on Tata's blast furnaces.
What is commissioning engineering?
Commissioning is the full process of safely bringing a new installation into operation: from on-site inspections, through phased testing, to handover to operations. KTS coordinates this end-to-end, including documentation and authorisations training.
Do you work 24/7 on breakdowns?
Yes, our Maintenance Services division offers 24/7 breakdown response. For critical issues we're reachable by phone directly and on-site within one hour. For other reports it's 4-hour response (urgent) or next working day (regular).
What certifications do you hold?
VCA** (safe work at customer sites) and NEN3140 (electrical safe operations). On request we share the full overview including individual certifications for specific disciplines.
What sets KTS apart from a large contractor?
We focus on technical project management, not bulk execution. Short lines, on-site ourselves, owner involvement on every job. No intermediate layers, no padded staffing, straight advice and custom work.
Do you also revise older installations?
Yes, that is one of our specialisms. We can analyse existing systems (including 3D-scanning when documentation is missing), revise or modernise while preserving the original installation.
What does a project cost roughly?
We work on hourly rate or project basis. An initial scoping conversation is free, in which we sketch direction and order of magnitude. For a concrete price indication we send a substantiated quotation within 1 to 2 working days.
