Project Description
A substantial extension of 11×6 meters to an existing home, realized with a combination of steel and timber frame construction. The steel arch trusses support the mansard roof and provide a large span without intermediate support points, resulting in a spacious open living space.
The project included the complete process: from design and structural calculations to fabrication on site. The steel arch trusses form the architectural heart of the structure and were custom fabricated.
